Bookings
How does booking work?
Book your session directly on our website, on the Book a Session page. Pick a date and available time slot, confirm payment, and you'll get a confirmation email with all the details, including the exact location for that session.
How long is a session?
45 minutes. That covers rounds in the sauna and cold water immersion.
How many people per session?
Up to 6.
Where does the session take place?
LongRun Viana is a mobile sauna. We move between locations along the Viana do Castelo coast, such as Cabedelo-Luziamar, Parque da Cidade, and Carreço. The exact spot is confirmed in your booking email.
What to bring
What do I need?
A swimsuit, a towel, and water. We handle the rest.
Do I need special footwear?
We recommend non-slip shoes, especially if the session is near water or on rocky ground.
Health and safety
Who shouldn't use the sauna?
We don't recommend it for people with cardiovascular conditions, high or low blood pressure, serious respiratory issues, epilepsy, or pregnancy. If you're unsure, check with your doctor before booking. Full details in our Terms and Conditions.
What's the minimum age?
16. Anyone between 16 and 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Changes and cancellations
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Cancel more than 24 hours before your session and you're entitled to a refund or credit. See the cancellation section in our Terms and Conditions for the full details.
Can I change the date?
Yes, at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability. Email us at geral@longrunviana.com.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If conditions make it unsafe to run the session, we'll reschedule at no cost or give you a full refund.
Groups and events
Can I book for a large group, corporate event, or surf camp?
Yes. Head to the Groups & Events page and send us a request. We'll get back to you to sort out the date, time of day (morning, afternoon, or a full day, since pricing varies), and any other details.
